Glastonbury Festival is nearly here and as the UK's biggest music festival draws closer more and more acts are being revealed to be performing. That includes the acts taking to the Croissant Neuf stage.
Croissant Neuf is a unique part of Glastonbury Festival as the area has an environmentally friendly theme. Along with the live music the area will contain environmental displays and will hold "eco-friendly chats and workshops" for those wanting to learn more about how they can help the plant.
But the area is also a pioneer as since 1987 Croissant Neuf's stage has been powered using solar energy. The first time it used solar power the stage was powered by two 12v car amplifiers running off car batteries, but since then it has grown massively and the solar energy now powers a full lighting rig and a huge speaker system.
