People rocking up to Glastonbury Festival are showing there is certainly more than one way to skin a cat when it comes to bringing their belongings into Worthy Farm. Thousands have flocked down to Pilton today (June 22) in an excited mood as the iconic festival makes its big return after three years away.
Ahead of the big name acts performing on the Pyramid Stage on Friday, lucky ticket holders have arrived in order to find a spot to camp. As many will be there until Monday morning, they will have to take plenty of supplies with them - everything bar the kitchen sink.
While most have opted for the a couple of big suitcases on wheels, others have found rather interesting ways of shipping their stuff onto the site. And some of them are quite wacky.

People at the festival have been spotted carrying their stuff in on wheelbarrows and trolleys to make life easier for them. However, one of the stranger modes of transport is a wheelie bin, which one festival-goer was spotting using this morning to take items in.
Plenty of supplies are being brought in, including a lot of booze, with some crates stacked up high as people arrive. Lots of the other items include the standard supplies of tents, food and cleaning products.
Those who have arrived on the first day of the festival have expressed how pleased they are to be there. Mark Lawrie, 49, who is at Glastonbury with his 18-year-old daughter Bethan said: We slept in the car for a few hours and joined the queue at 6am.
“This is our third time and it’s always brilliant… the moment you get here and start to see the tops of the tents you get such a buzz. It’s always such a positive atmosphere here, everyone’s just so nice to each other and friendly to each other, but I think after what we’ve been through the last two and a half years it’s going to be special.”
