Glasgow woman in serious condition after being found unwell on city street

Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Police Queen Elizabeth II

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being discovered unwell on a Glasgow street, sparking a police probe.

Officers were alerted to the scene to Dumbarton Road in the Yoker area around 7am this morning after the alarm was raised.

The woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where medical staff describe her condition as serious but stable.
