A Glasgow woman spiralled down a staircase at a donor centre after giving blood. Nicole McGinley blacked out after she made the one pint donation on Wednesday June 7.
She hit the back of her head on a marble staircase as she fell down the Nelson Mandela place premises following her appointment. The 25-year-old, who lives in Maryhill, lost sensation in her feet and legs.
Nicole was left badly bruised after the horrific fall. Now on the mend, she has thanked a woman who she says helped "save" her life - and is keen to get in touch with her to show her gratitude.
