A west end street has been left in tatters for three months after being 'abandoned' by bungling workmen.
Openreach engineers began digging up the street outside a student accommodation building on Keith Street in March but left the site during torrential rain - and still haven't returned to fix it.
And as their work installing fibreoptic cables blocked the drain, the busy street has been flooded with stagnant water forcing Glasgow City Council to step in.

Erwin Orduz, scheme manager at Hyndland House, said his staff have been verbally abused by locals over the eyesore despite the team doing everything in their power to get it sorted.
He told Glasgow Live: "Openreach engineers came out to do work laying cables which we don't have an issue with. We weren't told that the work was happening but we assumed it would be as it was to be a quick job.
"The work started just as we had that really bad rain. They weren't able to do anything because it was so wet so they just left it.
"It sat like that until two and a half weeks ago when they came back and did what they needed to and just left. The road has been dug up and all the rubble just left leaving us unable to use three of the parking spaces and they've abandoned the plastic barriers.
"Because of the work they've done, the drains have been blocked and the street was filled with stagnant water that smelled disgusting. It's been a health and safety hazard for months. There are no street lights so there's the risk of tripping and injury."
The council was forced to intervene after several complaints by locals and eventually drained the site to get rid of the flooded water but issues with the leftover barriers and damaged road are ongoing.
Erwin added: "I contacted Openreach to ask them to come and resolve the issue. One man came out and didn't do anything but remove the Openreach sticker from the barrier so we wouldn't be able to contact them.
"A lot of our neighbours seem to think it's our fault and have been abusive to my staff. We're run out of options to get it sorted because no one is taking accountability for it. There has been a complete lack of communication.
"It's an eyesore, especially for local businesses. There is other work now started on the road so now we're facing even more mess.
"We're really at our wit's end over the whole thing."
An Openreach spokesperson said: "We're really sorry for the mess left behind after works to bring ultrafast full fibre broadband to local residents. Several parties have been working in the area over the last few weeks and we're liaising with our contractors to find out what's gone wrong and make sure there's no repetition."
Openreach have confirmed that the site has been cleared.
