The start of 2023 will be extra special for some Scots as it saw them welcome adorable new additions to their families.
Three babies were born after midnight across The Princess Royal Maternity Hospital, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Megan Barrass gave birth to the first baby of 2023 - a boy - at 12.11am at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital, Glasgow.

The parents are yet to name their bundle of joy who arrived weighing 8lb. Mum and baby are both happy and healthy, the Daily Record reports.
It was a busy morning for the Princess Royal with three babies welcomed into the world, in Glasgow, in the early hours of Sunday.

At The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, their first arrival was at 12.41am.
A baby girl was born, to mum Racheal, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, at 2.43am. She weighed 6lb 9.
