The past few weeks have been largely dry with plenty of sunshine and toasty temperatures keeping us warm.

And to make the most of it, people have headed to Queen's Park and Kelvingrove to soak up the rays and enjoy it while it lasts.

But typically, we are set to have some rainy days over the weekend - despite the sunshine while many of us have been stuck in the office working.

So what does the weather look like in Glasgow this weekend?

According to the Met Office, while today (June 16) is set to see highs of 22C with the sun staying out, the weekend will also see these temperatures. But it won't be quite as sunny.

Saturday, June 17

On Saturday (June 17) highs of 24C are expected with little rain throughout the day. However there will be lots of cloud coverage which could make it feel cooler. If you are awake at 7am, you will likely see a short downpour which is expected to stop by 8am.

Much of the sun will come out between 7pm and 8pm for those wanting to soak up some sun during the weekend.
