The weather in Glasgow has been mixed with the city having seen downpours and sunny spells throughout the weekend.
But whilst this morning has been largely dry and sunny for most, this is soon set to change.
According to forecasters, Glasgow is set to see thunder and lightning across a three day period starting from today (September 6).

As predicted by AccuWeather, the thunderstorms will last until Thursday (September 8) with today set to see highs of 21C. The next day will see highs of 19C which will then rise again on September 8 to 20C.
Discussing the weather tonight, which comes as Celtic are set to play Real Madrid in the city, the BBC have said that there will be rain. They say: "It will turn sunnier in the afternoon, but there will also be further isolated showers, which will be heavy in places with the chance of thunder.
"This evening, clouds will increase from the south, and scattered showers will move through during the first part of the night. The showers will be locally heavy with the chance of thunder."

A cloudy start with a few showers around but becoming brighter. Cloud bubbling up in the afternoon with scattered heavy showers developing. Increasing amounts of sunshine late in the afternoon. Feeling warm again. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Tonight
Bright start to the evening with showers dying out. However, cloud will increase with more showers spreading up from the south again, possibly heavy with thunder. A very mild night. Minimum temperature 14 °C.
Wednesday
Early low cloud lifting then a bright day with scattered heavy showers. Feeling warm with best of the sunny spells across western Argyll. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday
Bright spells and showers on Thursday and Friday, perhaps heavy. Feeling warm again on Thursday. Dry with sunny spells and light winds on Saturday.
