A high-temperature weekend is set for Glasgow as the Met Office released their latest weather predictions for the city.
A 10-day-long scorcher will hit the whole of the UK by Friday, with temperatures elsewhere rocketing up to around 35C. With Saturday expected to be the hottest day for Scots, concern has been raised over wildfires and wildlife during the scorcher.
Across this week, Glasgow will experience dry, sunny weather with highs of 26 degrees - but the weekend brings highs of 27 degrees, and a high UV rating as well.
