Glasgow will be heating up in the next few days with predictions as high as 23 degrees supposed to be hitting the city which is perfect for anyone heading to Riverside Music Festival this weekend.
Scotland's biggest city will be anticipating a mammoth of talented DJs heading to the west end as it welcomes the very best from many genres with spectacular weather also predicted for the event.
Riverside Music Festival will kick off at 1 pm on Saturday, June 3 and will finish at 11 pm until they do it all over again on Sunday, June 4 with after-parties being held at SWG3 on both evenings. However, just because you aren't heading to the music festival does not mean you get to miss out on the glorious sunshine forecast for Glasgow.

The Weather
Saturday - In the morning at 9 am, the city will wake up to a moderate temperature of 14 degrees which is not all that is expected for the first day of the weekend. A little over three hours later at 12 am, temperatures will have escalated four degrees centigrade hitting 18 degrees which is coming very close to the 20 mark.
At 3 pm, the temperature is expected to be 21 degrees which is supposed to be the hottest point of the day with some clouds expected to form which will help you nice and cool wherever you are in the city. By 6 pm, the clouds are predicted to have disappeared with the temperature supposed to be slowly cooling down from this point.
At 9 pm, the temperature is predicted to plunge by five degrees all the way down to 16 degrees. However, between 9 pm and midnight, the temperature will only go down to 12 degrees. This will be perfect for the festival or anyone else who is out during the evening in Glasgow.
Sunday - The second day of the weekend's weather is expected to be very similar to Saturday with a few very minor differences.
However, the main difference is that the temperature will hit its peak of 23 degrees which is due to happen between 4 pm and 6 pm.

FOOD + DRINK
Scotland’s favourite travelling street food collective The Big Feed will be on site across the whole weekend, serving up a mouthwatering menu of globally inspired food.
And of course, there will be a variety of delicious options to quench your thirst including local drinks brand Panther M*lk.
THE AFTER PARTIES
Once the main festival closes on each day, the party continues across the road at SWG3, with an electrifying lineup of local and international talent. These club nights are legendary for their hedonistic energy.
Saturday 3rd June: SOSA, Eclair FiFi, Nightwave, All U Need, Plantainchipps, plus special guest Mella Dee.
Sunday 4th June: Slam, Outflight, Patrick Mason, Vendex, TAAHLIAH, Neoma.
TRAVEL
The event takes place at the Riverside Museum, 100 Pointhouse Road, Glasgow, G3 8RS. The festival is a 10 minute walk from Partick Train Station and Subway in Glasgow’s West End. If you are travelling into Glasgow, both Glasgow Central and Queen Street have connecting trains to Partick.
