Glasgow transformed as filming for The Batman: Part II begins

• Final preparations are under way in Glasgow to transform the city into Gotham City for the upcoming shoot of The Batman: Part II.
• Production work throughout the month will bring road closures to North Street and Newton Street, with Gotham-themed buses and police vehicles already spotted in the city centre.
• Matt Reeves returns to direct the blockbuster sequel, with Robert Pattinson reprising his role as Batman alongside returning cast members Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis.
• Sebastian Stan has confirmed he will portray the villain Two-Face, with Scarlett Johansson, Jayme Lawson and Charles Dance also joining the cast.
• The follow-up to the 2022 film, which grossed over $772 million globally, is scheduled for cinema release on 18 February 2028.
