A new shop specialising in vinyl records has opened in Glasgow with a special launch day live performance.
Assai Records has opened its first Glasgow branch on Sauchiehall Street, following in the footsteps of their popular shops in Edinburgh and Dundee.
Assai has taken over the former site of a Ladbrokes and has transformed it into a music-lovers paradise specialising in vinyl and turntables and hosting in-store events.

The shop will be stocking limited edition vinyl releases, classic records, and chart-topping albums alike.
Assai also operates its own record label, Assai Recordings.
Assai Records Glasgow will open from 10.30 am on Wednesday morning with a free special performance from Brownbear kicking off at 1 pm to celebrate the release of his new album.
