Glasgow teen rushed to hospital after being struck by car in the south side

Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Queen Elizabeth II

Emergency services rushed to Glasgow's south side earlier today after a teen was reportedly struck by a car.

The 17-year-old man was walking along Barrhead Road when he was hit by a vehicle at around 4.30pm.

The injured teen was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated.
