A Glasgow takeaway that opened almost four decades ago is set to close its doors, leaving locals devastated.
Stefano's Pizzeria in Mount Florida first started serving delicious pizza slices - 'the best freshly made pizza in the south side' - back in 1983.
However, the owner - who has been at the helm of the Cathcart Road eatery for close to 20 years - announced at the weekend they are to 'hang up the pizza baton'.

Sharing the sad news on Facebook, they said: "Hello pizza dudes, well the word is out.
"I have decided after almost two decades to hang up the pizza baton.
"I will still be working for another few months yet so please pop in before we go.
"It has been an absolute pleasure working in the south side for all these years and we will miss you all dearly.
"Thank you for your custom and all the laughs."
The community reacted with sadness in response, with one person commenting: "Nooooo! Really sad day for the south side! Good luck to everyone for the future!
"Make sure that secret recipe is passed on!"
Another person simply added: "Best pizzas in Glasgow full stop".
