A takeaway from Glasgow has concocted their very own edible tribute on the run up to King Charles' coronation this weekend.
The independent family run Villaggio Pizza in Eaglesham decided to start celebrations early with their twist on the Head of State.
A traditional base was used to create the face and ears, while chips, jalapenos and red onion were utilised to create the King's hair and crown.

The pizzeria posted on Facebook: "To commemorate our new monarch we have produced our King Charlie Pizza.
"It’s a one off and not available to order unfortunately but we do have all our usual great food. Have a great weekend everyone.
"Thanks team Villaggio."
The foodie portrait has been an instant hit with customers.
One commenter wrote: "Looks like a royally good pizza."
Another added: "That’s brilliant."
Some thought that the uncanny King Charles pizza could be made even more lifelike with a few more additions.
A witty commenter wrote: "Should have 10 link sausages on it. Missed a trick."
