Glasgow subway strikes have been put on the back burner after a walk-out was set for Rangers' first home game of the season.
Glasgow Live previously reported that almost all Unite members (99 per cent) voted in favour of industrial action. Clockwork Orange staff were fuming over being called into work shifts at short notice amid rota issues.
Day one of the scheduled strikes was Saturday, August 6 when the Light Blues take on Kilmarnock at Ibrox. The other three dates were Tuesday, August 9, Saturday, August 13 and Saturday, August 27.

However, it has now been confirmed industrial action had been delayed, the Scottish Daily Express reports.
SPT director of Subway Antony Smith said: “SPT has been advised and welcomes the decision from Unite to suspend all planned Subway strike action on August 6, 9, 13 and 27 and to continuing constructive discussions as we move forward”.
Unite members voted 99 per cent for strike action on a voter turnout of 83 per cent. The union said the dispute centres on the subway system operators Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) enforcing changes to duty schedules.
Unite members are increasingly being called into work shifts at short notice, leading to significant work-life pressures. But workers faced accusations of targeting Gers fans in an attempt to hold the city to ransom.
Willie Thomson, Unite industrial officer, said: "Positive negotiations have led to the suspension of strike action. Unite members will soon be balloted on an improved proposal from SPT."
