A Glasgow university's student union is set to march this week to show solidarity with victims of rape and sexual assault and demand action to make the city's streets safer.
Strath union, the University of Strathclyde's student union, will host their annual 'Fight for the Night' march this Thursday, December 8. This year they are working with Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis and Saheliya, amongst other partners, who all carry out vital work to raise awareness and support survivors of gender-based violence across Glasgow and Scotland.
The march is open for anyone who wants to show their support for the campaign's message to attend and will begin at Kelvingrove Park, with attendees being asked to meet on the Prince of Wales Bridge at 6 pm.
