A new dessert cafe has opened in Glasgow's south side with a touching ethos.
A Loada Waffles has just wrapped up its first week in their shop on Kenmure Street in Pollokshields.
The team behind the cafe have big aspirations for the new venue and are putting community right at the heart of it.
They told Glasgow Live: "This is not the normal waffle/dessert place.
"We are hoping to become part of the community where we're offering jobs to locals and spreading the love with the amazing service offers. We have customers coming into the shop for the desserts and the outstanding personal attention each customer gets."
Despite what the name suggests, there's more than just waffles on the menu.
Customers can also enjoy crepes, milkshakes, and cakes.
With just a few days under their belt, they have already received 'overwhelming support and feedback'.
