A man was allegedly slashed while attending a soup kitchen in Glasgow city centre.
The 37-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Argyle Street where volunteers with Homeless Project Scotland were serving food and supplies to those in need.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Hielanman's Umbrella around 8.30pm on Sunday evening and the injured man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

The incident has led to further calls from the charity for Glasgow City Council to provide them with a permanent building to operate from. Homeless Project Scotland is hoping to open a 24/7 support hub where people could attend for food and practical help.
The council has so far been unable to find a building suitable for the charity's needs due to the 'limited number' of properties at its disposal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 44 -year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the serious assault of a 37-year-old man which happened at Argyle Street in Glasgow around 8.30pm Sunday, 13 November, 2022.
"The victim was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (November 14)."
