Glasgow looks set to stage matches at Euro 2028 as UK & Ireland's bid to host the huge tournament bit 'goes unopposed'.
As it stands, no rival bids have been submitted by other European nations to host the third largest sporting event on the globe, with none expected prior to the deadline on Wednesday (March 23).
The Mirror reports that UEFA are not anticipating any latecomers and, as a result, will announce that Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland as the venues for the tournament in six years time.

The bid for Euro 2028 is said to feature 18 stadiums that are likely to be used as tournament venues, with five grounds having guaranteed hosting rights - one of which is Scotland's national stadium, Hampden Park.
Euro 2028 would mark a welcome return of major tournament football to Glasgow after Hampden hosted four matches during Euro 2020, which was co-hosted across 11 cities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the European Championship competition.
Murrayfield in Edinburgh is also said to be among potential venues to play host to the tournament.
