A charity tackling poverty is hosting a family day in Glasgow this weekend, fundraising for those struggling around the world.
Tearfund is partnering with Fischy Music and St Silas Church for a Christmas Family Adventure day, hoping to bring some festive fun while showing the ‘reason for the season’. With live music, food and drinks, crafts and games, and so much more - it's the perfect day out for the whole family.
Held at St Silas Church at 12pm on Saturday, the event will run into the afternoon and is priced at £4 for those over 18-years-old while children can get in for just £1.

Ahead of the event, Tearfund said: “This December, Tearfund is partnering with Fischy Music and churches across Scotland to bring you our Christmas Family Fun Day.
“Looking for something fun for the family this Christmas? Wish there was something to help your kids focus on the reason for the season, and make a difference to families around the world who are struggling right now?
“Look out the Christmas jumpers, warm up your singing voices and bring the whole family along for a morning of live music, tasty treats, Christmas crafts, games and much more.
“We’ll also be offering face painting, a hot chocolate station and plenty of mince pies. Plus a chance to put your creative skills to the test in making your very own Christmas tree decorations.”
