Glasgow's food scene is expanding and it is safe to say we're spoilt for choice when it comes to places to wine and dine.
We're home to many award-winning eateries, with several local businesses up for Café/Bistro of the Year in The Food Awards Scotland 2022, including favourites such as Scran, Singl-end Merchant City, Cafe Wander and Wilson Street Pantry.
But now we're set to welcome a new restaurant to the southside of the city that looks to be just as popular.

Teasing their new eatery, they said Glaswegians can soon expect a new restaurant which will be "serving up some Italian street food in the form of delicious Piadina!"
The location, found just off Pollokshaws Road, is in a prime spot with it being just opposite Queen's Park and other popular eateries including Hugs and Mugs, The Brooklyn Cafe and Cafe Strange Brew. It is also located next door to Tantrum Doughnuts.
For those unaware, Piadina, according to the restaurant, is a popular flat bread street food dish from the Romanga region of Italy.
They add that it is prepared by cooking it on a griddle, where it is then stuffed with delicious cold cuts, grilled meats, vegetables and cheese.
In response to their news, many people were keen to walk through their doors with one saying: "Is it natural for your mouth to water when you read a description.
Another added: "Eeeek can’t wait!!"
"Looking forward to it opening," commented a third.
When they announce an opening date you will be the first to know. Until then you can keep up-to-date with Piada on Instagram here who are also looking for front of house staff and chefs.
