Kelvingrove Park is set for £45,400 worth of funding to boost playground makeover plans.
The West End park is set to have two additional pieces of equipment and surfacing in its play area after the investment was signed off at the Hillhead Area Partnership meeting on Thursday.
A council report said the money was match funding to add to developer contributions and Scottish Government funding.

It is part of the council’s local parks and open space improvement fund for this financial year, which will see £1.5 million going to Area Partnerships across the city.
Resident Stewart Leighton, of Woodlands and Park Community Council, said: " I would certainly welcome any investment in Kelvingrove Park.”
Another £3,600 investment was proposed to plant trees and native woodland bulbs and plug plants at greenspace at the corner of North Woodside Road and Maryhill Road.
But that investment decision has been delayed as Green councillor Martha Wardrop and SNP councillor Ken Andrew asked for maps to clarify exact location details for the site.
