Glasgow locals are fuming over 'loud noise' that allegedly came from Junction 1's summer festival.
Residents of Oatlands and the surrounding area took to social media to vent about the supposed racket made by acts and revellers on Sunday night. One suggested event organisers were 'taking the p**s' on the closing night of the three-day festival while another suggested the 'volume' levels 'so close to residential areas' were 'insane' as late as 11pm.
A third claimed that locals received no prior warning of event which saw Groove Armada and Kelis take to the stage on Sunday to close the 2022 line-up.

One wrote: "Junction 1 Glasgow, day four of hearing this s**t even with the windows shut. Are you taking the p**s?"
Another commented: "Weekends I don't mind so much but on a Sunday night still going at 11pm? It was so loud."
A third posted: "What the hell? Junction 1 taking the proverbial this afternoon and evening.
"Some of us have work in the morning. How is this allowed?
"Insane volume for being so close to residential areas."
Another wrote: "Is that noise the new concert venue? Is that swearing on the mic? Is this going to be a regular thing?"
A fifth commented: "What is that loud music? Where is it coming from?"
Another posted: "I'm not sure if residents of Oatlands were consulted by Junction 1, or were privy to a community consultation, to ask what the thoughts of the community were? From what I'm reading probably not."
Alison Thewliss, Scottish National Party MP for Glasgow Central, responded to queries on Twitter. She urged anyone who'd like to raise their concerns about the alleged racket to get in touch.
Ms Twewliss wrote "I have had quite a number of constituents in touch about this already. If you haven't already please email alison.thewliss.mp@parliament.uk and I'll follow up.
It comes after acts set to perform on the main stage were cancelled last minute, leaving ticket holders fuming. Junction 1 put out a social media post on Friday confirming popular act Norman Jay was unable to take to the main stage.
Festival goers were left disappointed when an email from organisers appeared to confirm even more cancellations including N.O.W, Soul II Soul and Sister Bliss. Junction 1's Summer Festival saw a range of acts take the stage from Friday to Sunday. The live entertainment venue sits in the city's Rosyth Road.
A Glasgow City Council spokesman told Glasgow Live: “Our environmental health team visited these premises after we received a number of complaints about noise. Although the decibel readings at the venue indicated that sound levels were not in breach of standard licensing conditions, the venue operator agreed to turn down the bass on their system
“The venue has been licensed on a temporary basis and we will continue to monitor this situation as necessary.”
Junction 1 and Alison Thewliss MP were contacted for comment.
