Bubble tea specialists CUPP have opened their first Scottish store on Byres Road - and announced a second and third are set to follow, one on Sauchiehall Street, and another on Victoria Road in the southside.
Bringing their popular bubble tea range to Glasgow, CUPP opened their first store at 184 Byres Road earlier this month after a slight delay over the festive period.
Described as “the drink you can chew” it has gained massive popularity in recent years in the UK and around the world after originating in Taiwan.

Head of franchising at CUPP, Mikayla Whittle, said: “We are delighted to open the first of many CUPP stores in Scotland, with an iconic location acquired on Byres Road in Glasgow’s West End.
"We have a further 10 stores in the pipeline in cities including Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness and Edinburgh. It will be great to launch this fantastic brand to the public and are looking forward to the expansion across the country.”

Lee added that they offer a wide range of iced and hot milk-based drinks, in addition to their fantastic range of fruit teas using real fruit purees, house-made syrups, organic milk and loose-leaf tea, as well as great dairy alternatives.
At the new store, customers are able to choose their tea, an optional topping, whether they want dairy or non-dairy milk and what level of sweetness – as well as what size of tea they would like.
