Glasgow's Charles Rennie Mackintosh rare artworks go up for sale in bidding war

A selection of Glasgow's very own Charles Rennie Mackintosh artworks are to go up for sale in a bidding war.

The Glasgow born architect, from Townhead, was one of the greatest designers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries with a number of rare objects to be sold to the highest bidder next week.

Bidding will commence on April 19 and will be sold online and also hosted in-person in Edinburgh by fine art & design auctioneers Lyon & Turnbull. This will be part of their latest Design Since 1860 sale.
