A big-hearted Scot never expected that his Valentine’s Day tradition would turn into a movement — but that's exactly what's happening after the banking manager began delivering bouquets to his female friends every February.
“I’m trying to break the stigma that Valentine’s is only for people with other halves, “ Jamie Ather told Glasgow Live. “For the past five years I have made a point of celebrating my single friends on Valentine’s Day.”
Come February 14 each year, the 31-year-old turns into Glasgow’s very own cupid, driving around the city leaving a handwritten poem accompanied by roses on the doorsteps belonging to his single pals.
