Residents across Glasgow have spoken of their anger after being woken up by an early morning TRNSMT festival soundcheck on Saturday July 8.
Sam Fender was prepping for his set at Glasgow Green later tonight, at around 8am in the morning which left some locals fuming.
The morning tunes are said to have been heard from as far away as Pollok, leaving many people 'raging' at organisers' decision to kick off preparations so early.
Sam Fender is due to perform on the main stage at 9.15pm, but thanks to this morning's sound checks, many may already know his set plans. Among the early morning set was a cover of Scots band Frightened Rabbit.

A woman tweeted the Geordie singer saying: "Cheers @SamFender for waking me up at 8.15am on this great Saturday morning. #F***soundcheck#imoanthenightshift #TRNSMT2023."
Another said: "Huge thanks to whoever authorised TRNSMT folk to start warming up at f**kin 8am on a Saturday morning, from an extremely raging nightshift person."
One nearby resident said hearing Sam Fender's song left her in tears. She added: "Because I live at Glasgow Green I've just heard Sam Fender covering the Modern Leper by Frightened Rabbit tonight for TRNSMT. Thanks, Sam, I've woken up with a hangover crying."
However not everyone was annoyed with the early wake-up call as Debbie-Jo tweeted: "Woke up this morning to Sam Fender doing his sound check. Absolutely buzzzing for later!! #TRNSMT."
A TRNSMT spokesperson said: "We take our responsibility to local residents extremely seriously so pre-event we post an event handbook to addresses around Glasgow Green to communicate what time there will be intermittent stage noise and sound checks at each day before the gates open.
"We also operate a community hotline which can be contacted to raise any concerns people living near the festival may have."
