Glasgow residents asked for their say on plans to make calories mandatory on menus

Glaswegians are being asked for their say on plans to add the number of calories to menus in cafes, restaurants and takeaways.

As part of action to address obesity, mandatory calorie labelling could be introduced across the country.

The measures are part of the government’s wider actions to 'ensure Scotland is a place where we eat well and have a healthy weight', including their aim to halve childhood obesity by 2030.
