Police have released images of an individual they believe could assist in their ongoing investigation of a serious assault that took place in Merchant City.
The incident occurred last year on December 18 at around 2.45am on Union Street.
The individual in the images is described as black, between 40 and 50 years of age, and with dark coloured hair and was wearing a navy jacket, navy trousers, and navy shoes.

Anyone who recognises the man in the pictures is being urged to contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 0599 of 18 December, 2022 or Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "Detectives have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with an ongoing investigating into the serious assault of a man that occurred around 2.45am on Sunday, 18 December, 2022, in Union Street, Glasgow.
"Officers believe the person shown in the images could have information which could assist with their inquiries."
