Glasgow police launch search to trace missing Shettleston teenager

Police are appealing for assistance in tracing a 14-year-old girl who has been reported missing from her home in Glasgow's east end.

Alanna Clarke was last seen about 10:30am on Monday (March 7) at her home address in Shettleston.

Her current whereabouts are unknown and friends & family are becoming increasingly concerned for her.

Alanna is described as white, 5 ft 4 in height, red/auburn hair, black jacket, peach joggers and black trainers.

Inspector Taylor from Shettleston Police station said: "Alanna has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for her and her family are understandably worried about it.

"We have a number of police resources out looking for Alanna and I am now looking for the assistance from the public. The police are looking to trace Alana safe and well as quickly as possible.

"If you believe you have seen Alanna or have any information please contact 101 quoting incident no. 1459 of the 7th of March 2022."
