CCTV images released after serious assault in Glasgow city centre

Police Scotland have released images of a man they believe could hold information which may assist in a serious assault investigation.

The incident occurred just after midnight on Thursday, September 29, on Holland Street. The man is described as white, around 6ft, medium build, between 25-35 years old with short dark hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark hooded top, dark t-shirt, grey shorts and white trainers.

Detective Constable James Herbison, from Greater Glasgow CID, said: “This was a particularly serious attack in a busy area of Glasgow city centre which has left a man requiring hospital treatment.

“I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to the male depicted in this image to make contact with the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 0038 of September 29, 2022. Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
