There are a number of banks closing this year with a total of 193 branches set to shut up shop for good shortly.
The high street banks include the likes of Santander, Barclays, HSBC and Nationwide with more on the list.
However whilst almost 200 will not open after a certain date, only one in Glasgow has been named so far.

This is set to be the NatWest branch located at 14 Blythswood Square G2 4AU. This is located just minute from the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel. It has a current closing date of January 26 2023.
It comes as 42 others across the UK are also shutting as part of the NatWest's transition towards online banking.
In October, Glasgow Live reported on the closures. A NatWest spokesperson then commented: “As with many industries, most of our customers are shifting to mobile and online banking because it is faster and easier for people to manage their financial lives. We understand and recognise that digital solutions aren’t right for everyone or every situation, and that when we close branches we have to make sure that no-one is left behind.
“We take our responsibility seriously to support the people who face challenges in moving online, so we are investing to provide them with support and alternatives that work for them.”

What if I want face-to-face banking?
As reported by Money Saving Expert (MSE), despite the news, there are plenty of alternatives options you can pick from should you wish to continue with face-to-face banking.
MSE suggest: "If your branch is shutting, you may want to consider switching to a bank that still has a local branch nearby – although bear in mind there's no guarantee that too won't close."
If you wish to continue with face-to-face banking, MSE suggest that it could be worth seeing f there's a 'mobile branch' or RBS branch near you.
They add: "NatWest runs a mobile branch service that can be found at various locations throughout the year, for up to five days at a time. The service lets you do everyday banking including making deposits, withdrawing cash and paying bills.
"You can find out where your nearest mobile branch is, or when it will next be in your area, on the NatWest website.
"NatWest customers can also use Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) branches for everyday banking such as cash deposits and withdrawals and paying in cheques – find your nearest RBS branch. Alternatively, you can use the Post Office to access cash, pay in cheques or check your balance."
