Two Glasgow mums have set up an emergency foodbank following announcements that other foodbanks in Glasgow will close due to the Queen's funeral today.
Dr Anastacia Ryan and Claire Morrison, both working mums, decided to set up 'The Mother Bank' to help fellow mums after it was announced that multiple foodbanks across the city would close today.
The pair didn't want struggling mothers left with no access to emergency supplies such as milk, baby food or nappies and for those women who are un- able to attend in person, they are offering a door-to-door delivery service from 4-6pm, and have been inviting women to reach out via their Instagram page with their addresses and requirements.
