A man has died after being found on a bridge crossing the M8 last night.
Police were called to the scene after reports of concern for a man near Baird Street.
The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and died a short time after. Police are currently treating his death as unexplained, but not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of concern for a man found at a bridge crossing the M8 close to Baird Street in Glasgow around 7.55pm on Sunday, November 21.

“The 52-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but was pronounced dead a short time later. His death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
This comes just one day after a woman lost her life on the M8 after being hit by a car. The 49-year-old woman passed away at the scene around 7pm on Saturday.
The section of road was closed until 2am on Sunday while accident investigators examined the area.
