A collapsed manhole cover on the M8 motorway is causing disruption for drivers in Glasgow this morning.
The hazard on the M8 Eastbound between Junction 16 (Craighall) and Junction 15 (Townhead) has forced the closure of two lanes and sparked long queues and delays for drivers.
Traffic information site INRIX report that congestion is back to Junction 22 (M77 Interchange).
Meanwhile Traffic Scotland is warning of delays of around 20 minutes for drivers.

They have also confirmed that police and Scotland TranServ's Trunk Roads Incident Support Unit (TRISS) are at the scene.
They tweeted: "J16 - J15 Lanes one and two (Of Four) are currently closed on the Eastbound carriageway, due to a loose drain cover. TRISS and Police are on the scene. Traffic is very slow and back to J22, with a 20 minute travel time."
