Glasgow Love Island star Lydia Karakyriakou has revealed what it's like behind the scenes one of of the most popular reality shows in the UK.
During a Facebook LIVE stream, as shown on Glasgow Live's page this afternoon, Lydia sat down to discuss what happened on the television show - and dished the dirt on some things we don't see.
The Glasgow influencer entered the show as part of Casa Amor alongside five other girls hoping to find a connection in the South African villa. But sadly the 22-year-old was sent home having been dumped from the villa after a re-coupling.

Talking about her experience on the show, the Scottish star revealed that she was "gutted" to have left and, naturally, wish she had stayed longer.
Tom Clare found himself in a difficult situation during the re-coupling as he tried to decide between Samie Elishi and Lydia. But it was Samie he chose, sending Lydia packing.
Speaking during the LIVE stream to the Daily Record's Paul Smith about whether or not Tom and her could have lasted had it worked out differently, she said she was "disappointed" but not angry or upset adding: "Potentially, we did get along really well and I felt really comfortable with him from day one - even when we weren't filming he was such a nice guy."
She continued: "I'm gutted I didn't get to stay longer because I felt like I had so much more stuff to give but at the same time it was a crazy experience and I will definitely never forget it. I've made friends for life and great memories."
As well as talking about her time on the show, she also revealed what happens behind the scenes saying that the cameras are rolling "24/7" but that doesn't mean everything is being captured with the Islander being asked to keep chat to a minimum when they're having downtime so that nothing is missed out from the show.
She explained: "It was so hard because all the girls just wanted to gossip but they're [producers] like guys you can't speak about it right now. There's also so much chat with the boys that you haven't seen that I wish you had. It's gutting to see wee funny bits that weren't in it."
Before stepping foot in the villa however, the singletons has to isolate with Lydia revealing that despite joining Casa Amor, each Islander had to isolate by themselves.
"You do it by yourself and it's to make sure you don't see any other Islanders before you get in there" she said.
"You don't talk about anything that they would want to capture on the show so it was really crazy going from just me to then getting chucked in this villa with all these people. I had too much energy [to be] cooped in."
If you're thinking of applying to the summer series, the 22-year-old says people should go for it and not wait around.
She said: "I think you need to be confident in yourself. You're you for a reason, you're good enough in whatever you do, you don't need to play up to be anyone
"Just go for it. There's no holding back with things like this, it's a once in a lifetime thing so if you do get the opportunity to do it, you need to do it. So just get yourself out there and stand out as much as you can."
As for who she thinks will, and with the final only a few weeks away, the Love Island star says that Lana and Ron could go all the way with the couple now on a great path adding that her answer "changes so much" and she can't pick just one couple.
