One of Glasgow's most iconic street performers is making a return to where it all began this weekend.
Robert the Robot - aka the original 'silent raver' - will once again be showing off his phenomenal street dancing moves when he hits the city centre this coming Saturday (February 12).
The 'cyborg,' who spent years in the 80s and 90s outside Marks and Spencer's on Argyle Street and on Buchanan Street in his white boiler suit, mask, sunglasses and diamond-studded belt is returning to his old stomping ground to support a local community group.

He'll be busking on Argyle Street next to Marks and Spencer's to help raise some funds for Help the Homeless on Saturday afternoon.
Following that, he'll be on hand to entertain members of the homeless community as they collect some food, clothing and toiletries from the community group's soup kitchens on Saturday night on Sauchiehall Street and Argyle Street.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, Robert McGowan aka Robert The Robot said: "I'm looking forward to it. I'm just going out there to do what I love doing. I feel like I'm giving something back.
"These people who are homeless could have been the same people who put money in my bucket back in the day. I'm looking forward to raising awareness for Help the Homeless too. Every penny I make busking will be going to them."
You can wind back the clock and catch Robert The Robot when he appears on Argyle Street on Saturday.
