Glasgow junior side Pollok FC have launched a fundraiser appeal to help cover the costs involved in installing floodlights at their home ground.
The club, which plays in the West of Scotland League Premier Division, were granted planning permission last month to install the floodlights at their home ground in Newlands in the southside of the city.
The work represents some of the most significant development work at their Newlandsfield stadium in the nearly 100 years since they acquired the ground, and forms the biggest part of their campaign to become an SFA-licensed Football Club.

Doing so would allow the club, which was founded back in 1908, to enter the senior Scottish Cup and be promoted were they to win their league.
The club see it as as an "opportunity for fans to be part of a once in a lifetime period of Pollok’s history".
Pollok's 'Floodlight Fund' appeal has so far attracted over £12,000 in donations since the fundraiser was launched at the end of January, with the club looking to raise in excess of £20k in total.
