A hotel in Glasgow has been named as one of the best places to stay next year.
Revolver, in Merchant City, has grabbed a spot in the Times' 100 best places in Britain to stay in 2023. The stylish hotel boasts 32 affordable bedrooms and apartments across three floors. The hotel is beaming with pride, with 95 per cent of its staff hailing from the LGBTQ+ community.
It displays artworks throughout by up-and-coming artist Lewi Quinn. Though modern and colourful, the hotel maintains - and showcases - its Victorian features.

Revolver is a historic 1880s tobacco traders’ HQ given a funky facelift by the team behind Riva Boutique Hotel in nearby Helensburgh. It’s a bargain, too, be it the doubles, dorms from £27pp or apartments sleeping eight, The Times reports.
It's no surprise the hotel has made it onto the prestigious list. We've had a look on TripAdvisor to see what you thought following your stay at Revolver.
Lea said: "Couldn’t believe how good value the hotel was, it had a designer boutique feel and it was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and attentive.
"When I called up Alex asked what was the occasion and went the extra mile and surprised us with a bucket of ice cold beers for my mates birthday. Top service, thank you Alex, she even told us the best bars and clubs. Would 100% stay again."
Gary wrote: "Excellent place to stay, lovely bedrooms and dorms and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely fresh tiled bathrooms and has everything you need.
"Tiny cafe and seating area for coffee and cake. Will be staying again very soon."
Danny added: "Recently visited with a large group of friends and it was the perfect stay. The rooms were private (even the shared rooms offered great privacy), beautifully decorated and the comfort was excellent.
"The staff were super friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. An amazing stay, would definitely visit again and highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Glasgow - you won't be disappointed."
