A Glasgow hotel has apologised after a guest complained that 'paper thin' walls led to them being woken up during the night.
Novotel, located in the city centre, on Pitt Street has received a complaint from a guest who stayed recently which notes many comments about their time at the inn.
In a scathing one star review, the visitor took to Tripadvisor to vent their frustration after they could hear people being sick in a nearby room. However, this wasn't all they had to say.

The reviewer stayed at the hotel for a brief visit, last month and titled her review as 'Terrible' and went onto detail what went on during their stay at Novotel.
The reviewer started by saying: "Stayed on a Friday night. Rooms are in need of an upgrade. Walls are paper thin. Building sight opposite starts work at 8am."
She went on to say that the hotel was: "Full of young people who were going out for the night as we returned at 9pm. Woken by upstairs neighbour returning to their room at 4am. Could hear them being violently sick several times and crying out for the other person in the room to help them."
The criticisms from the reviewer didn't stop there: "Check out is 11am but cleaner entered our room unannounced at 1040am. Beds are very uncomfortable."
They finished by saying: "Should be classed as a hostel, it’s far from a 4 star hotel. Hardly slept and returned home exhausted. Told a male member of staff of our experience when checking out & he couldn't have cared less. Would never return."

The hotel responded to the guest on Tripadvisor and started by saying: "Thank you for your feedback.
"I am disappointed that this was your experience of our hotel, please accept my apologies for your stay not meeting your expectations. I have passed your feedback to the management team to review & should you wish to discuss this with me further, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I hope we can welcome you back again in the future for a better stay."
While the hotel has received other one star reviews, it is still rated four out of five, based on the people who have reviewed it on Tripadvisor.
One person said: "An excellent hotel excellent customer service, extremely clean, very comfortable and fantastic central location."
Another person said: "Good centrally located property providing a nice and comfortable stay option for vacation or business visits. The property is well maintained and offers good food options. Staff is helpful and make the stay comfortable."
