Glasgow has been hit with a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, as the wintry weather arrives a day late on Boxing Day.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has also issued a flood warning for the majority of coastal areas in Scotland, stating: "On Christmas Day and Boxing Day coastal areas along the West coast, the Moray Firth and the Western and Northern Isles will see higher than normal tides and a small surge."
Meteorologists at the Met Office have warned that wintry snowfall could combine with freezing cold temperatures and cause icy surfaces - leading to some travel disruption. Roads and railways are likely to be affected by this weather, so motorists and travellers are urged to plan ahead for the possibility of a longer journey.

There is also "a very small chance" that there could be interruptions to power supplies, however, this will be updated by each individual supplier in your local area. There is likely to be icy patches on roads, pavements and cycle paths, so it is wise to be warier of the ground underfoot.
The weather warning was updated at 9am on Christmas Day to include Boxing Day (December 26), and Tuesday, December 27, due to there being a "greater ice risk across western Scotland later in the night."
The Met Office has released a five-day forecast for Glasgow, highlighting the worst affected areas of the city in this wintry weather warning. Read on below to find out more.
