A Glasgow great-great-grandmother who survived Covid-19 aged 98 and a hip replacement aged 99 is celebrating her 100th birthday.
Susan Gair from Pollok reached the huge milestone on August 11. Described as 'sharp as a tac' by loved ones, Susan credits 'not drinking or smoking' for her long and healthy life.
The self-confessed fashionista is marking the occasion with her two children, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, aged from two to 70, and friends this week. Susan sadly lost her husband and son, both Charles, 30 years ago and 10 years ago respectively.
