Glasgow has welcome a brand new pizza place in the form of Sano, which has opened on the Finnieston strip.
The new venue is a UK first for Sano, which has two pizza restaurants in the Republic of Ireland.
Announcing the news on their Instagram today, Sano replaces the former Jacques bar at 1146 Argyle Street and promises to serve up 'healthy Italian pizza without the crazy prices'.

Their pizzas are made the Neapolitan way, with the founders explaining on their website the story of how Sano began when they took a trip to Naples.
They say: "Their goal is to serve their customers the finest Neapolitan Pizzas, at an affordable cost, along with competitive cost for drinks, sides and desserts, ensuring everyone can afford to visit and enjoy Sano."
A quick look at the menu shows pizza toppings includes the likes of classic Margherita and Marinara as well as the Maradona, featuring anchovies, capers, oregano, olives, basil, garlic, fresh mozzarella and tomato sugo.
There are vegan and gluten free options too, alongside sides and desserts. Meanwhile their drinks menu offers wine, cocktails and draft beer including pints of Tennent's.
