Glasgow Garden Festival park makeover to tackle serious anti-social behaviour

Glasgow’s Festival Park is set to get a makeover to make it safer, in a bid to attract more people to use it.

The park is a small remnant of the huge site, which hosted the Garden Festival in 1988, and attracted millions of visitors to the city.

But in recent years it has fallen into decline, with concerns over "serious anti-social behaviour". An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the park last year.
