The mass evacuation of "building site" flats had to be ordered by emergency services after the building being rented out by a millionaire fraudster was found to be potentially dangerous.
Dozens of African tenants were being charged £600 a month for unfinished flats in the east end by banned director Liberty Durant, despite the fact they weren't signed off for habitation.
After an investigation by Glasgow City Council and fire chiefs, the tenants were removed from the Eden Court flats in March and made homeless, as officials scrambled to put them up in emergency hotel accommodation, reports the Daily Record.
