Peter Kay fans have begged him to add extra Glasgow dates onto his tour after the first two sold out within minutes.
The comedian is set to return to the stage after a four-year break from the public eye with his latest tour kicking off in December and running until August 2023.
Tickets for the shows went on pre-sale on Thursday with thousands of fans missing out after websites crashed. O2 said there had been "unprecedented demand" for their O2 Priority service with the show generating the "highest demand" for tickets they had seen in 15 years.

General sale began on Saturday with tens of thousands trying their best to secure their place at the Glasgow shows due to take place on May 5 and 6 at the OVO Hydro.
Both dates are believed to have sold out within minutes with fans being placed in a queue only to then be told there was no availability.
One fan reported being 118,000th in the queue for seats at the 14,000-capacity venue. Others reported being placed in the queue for over an hour and being faced with prices of up to £212 per ticket due to demand.
Many took to social media to beg the Bolton comedian to add extra dates in the city but calls have so far gone unanswered. Extra dates have however been added to London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
Kay's last tour in 2010 set a world record for the biggest-selling stand-up comedy tour of all time. He had been due to perform again in 2017 before the shows were cancelled due to "unforeseen family circumstances".
