The founder of a well followed Glasgow Facebook page is using the online community to help those in need this Christmas.
Alex O'Kane, aged 57, created No1seems2care back in 2017 to initially support those living in Milton, Parkhouse, Lambhill and wider communities. However, it has now expanded to helping people across the entire city.
Prior to the launch of the page Alex and his family were already doing their bit.

He told Glasgow Live: "Eight or nine years ago my wife and I started an unofficial foodbank, it was called the Milton Food Hunt.
"When we created it we thought it'd be a short term measure but things have got worse. So we have been dishing out food for the last eight or nine years and all through covid.
"We started to understand that some people who needed food were also showing up for emotional support, they were looking for someone to talk to. There's so many levels to what people need."
As the page continued to grow, currently boasting well over 85,000 followers, more people asked for help and many offered donations.
No1seems2care is run on a voluntary basis with admins not receiving a penny for their work.
After years of seeing people fight to survive Alex realised that the money offered could be used to support families and individuals in need of mental and financial aid caused by the cost of living crisis.
The founder said: "We had people contact us offering to donate money but it's difficult to get that money to the right people.
"So I thought we'd start a GoFundMe page. I completely understand in this climate that everyone is struggling and we're asking them to put their hand in their pocket but we rarely put GoFundMe pages up.
"It's not me that's helping people, it's those on the page that are helping."
Since starting the GoFundMe over £1,400 has been raised by kind-hearted Glaswegians across the city. The money will be used to support and help the families on Alex's list he currently supports afford Christmas.
The number of people who have turned to No1seems2care for support has taken its toll on the page's creator.
His biggest fear is that the real financial impact of the festive season won't be felt by many until 2023.
Alex said: "I'm exhausted, this really has been overwhelming.
"I'm happy that I've got no family on our list that won't have a present for Christmas.
"Here's the catch a lot of these families have got themselves into debt and overspent for Christmas. Come January they will be in big trouble.
"I'm more concerned about January and February, that's when people will pay the price for Christmas.
"People need to be mindful that there's a lot of pressure on parents. It's hard to look your kid in the eye and say I can't get you that present, it's painful to say no to a child, but the reality is you have to live after Christmas.
"I know I'm going to be overwhelmed with people asking for help in the new year."
