A driver is demanding £396 from a Glasgow fertility clinic after an 'overgrown hedge' hanging out into the road scratched his silver campervan.
William Thomson, 52, was heading towards the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital when his campervan came under the hedge, which he says was four metres away from the kerb and into Fifty Pitches Road.
Because of oncoming traffic, he couldn't edge out into the opposite lane and was forced to drive straight into the "thick" branches, in June last year.

The dad, from Nitshill, initially thought Glasgow City Council were to blame for the damage to his vehicle - and even refused to pay his council tax until they coughed up the cash to repair his van - but the council confirmed the hedge is not on land maintained by them.
The overgrown hedge is believed to be on land occupied by TFP GCRM Glasgow Fertility Clinic, on Fifty Pitches Way.
William has now contacted the company asking if they'd front the £396 bill to repair some of the scratches on his van.
He claims the hedge was trimmed around November and is appalled that it took five months before it was cut.
William said: "I was like ‘what was that?’. The branches were really thick and scratched my campervan at low, mid, and high level.
"They took a bit of paint off and scratched two acrylic windows in the back. Trucks and vans had to go through it because they can’t go on the other side of the road, it was so dangerous.
"It’s shocking that they were left like that. It makes me angry, it's a disgrace.
"People’s vans and trucks were getting scratched all the time and it took them five months to cut it back. I went by and saw it was all cutback but it was too late for me by then because my van was damaged.
"I feel totally let down."
Glasgow City Council carried out an investigation and has confirmed William's claim has been declined.
A council spokesman said: “The bush which Mr Thomson has highlighted is not on land maintained by Glasgow City Council.
“It is a legal requirement for households to pay council tax. A complaint against the council is not a valid exemption from paying council tax.”
