A Glasgow dad has spoken of his horror at catching a prowler armed with a hammer lurking outside his home on CCTV.
The hooded figure was captured on Ring doorbell footage peering through windows and trying to access the property in Garrowhill on Wednesday night.
David Welsh, who was fast asleep upstairs at the time, was alerted to the man's presence outside his home via his son, who received a notification from the Ring app on his mobile phone and quickly sounded the alarm.
